The Adventures of Sir Lancelot was a British television series copyright 1951 and 1952 by Sapphire Films, Ltd. and Weinstein Productions. It was filmed at the Nettlefold and Walton Studios, Walton-on-Thames, England.
It was broadcast in the U.S. on NBC in '57 and 58. There were approximately
30 episodes done. A selection of 10 of the episodes are still available on video, two episodes per tape. The main stars were William Russell as Sir Lancelot, Ronald Leigh-Hunt
(and sometimes Bruce Seton) as King Arthur, Cyril Smith as Merlin and Jane Hylton as Queen Guinevere. |
